Joseph Zuckerman, D.V.M

  ​Dr. Zuckerman received his Bachelors in Science in Marine Biology from Farleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, N.J.  He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, Saint Christopher. His senior year in veterinary school was spent doing clinical rotations such as medicine, surgery and anesthesiology at the University Of Minnesota School Of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Zuckerman is a former adjunct professor of comparative anatomy at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Dr. Zuckerman is on the advisory board for the Animal Welfare League and frequently provides services and consultations with animal rescue organizations such as Pet Rescue and Adopt-A-Dog.  Dr. Zuckerman has certification from the USDA/APHIS for international health certificates and in Stem Cell Therapy. His special interests are Dentistry, Internal and Regenerative Medicine and Soft tissue surgery. Dr. Zuckerman lives in Westchester County N.Y with his wife, 2 daughters and his Malti-Poo "Charlie". When he is not taking care of your pets, Dr. Zuckerman enjoys fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Valerie Carril, D.V.M.

​Dr. Valerie Carril obtained her undergraduate degree at The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. After graduation she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at Louisiana State University earning her doctorate in January 2014. She began her veterinary career as a doctor working in a high volume small animal practice in Howard Beach, NY. Dr. Carril’s career interests include but are not limited to surgery, feline medicine, preventative care and exotic medicine. She is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), New York Veterinary Medical Society (NYVMS) and the Westchester/Rockland Veterinary Medical Association (WRVMA). She resides in Putnam County with her husband, son and rescued cats. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, sculpting and painting.

​Elise Lovisa, D.V.M

​​Dr. Lovisa graduated suma cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine.  She received several awards for academic excellence including Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Sigma and Mortar Board.  Dr. Lovisa entered the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine Graduate school in a Master's Program for the Feline Health Center and was a teaching assistant for veterinary students.  She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at  the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and pursued her internship at the Animal Medical Center in N.Y.C.  Dr. Lovisa has been in private practice in Ardsley since 1986 and has been a guest speaker at several high school career functions, and a guest on numerous radio and TV programs.  She has been recognized as a Top Veterinarian by Westchester Magazine in 2011 and 2012. Her special interests are internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, weight management and disease prevention.  She works cooperatively with several pet rescue groups and pursues continuing education.  Dr. Lovisa lives in Ardsley with her husband, has 2 college aged children, her dog Ben, and cats Toby, Mojo and Basil.  After hours she enjoys exercising, reading, being with friends, and travelling.

Lindsey Thomas, D.V.M.

​Dr. Lindsey Thomas grew up in nearby Eastchester, NY and for as long as she can remember always wanted to be a veterinarian. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University where she had the opportunity to work with and study lemurs in a natural forest habitat. After graduation she moved to Australia and completed her Veterinary Science degree at the University of Sydney, graduating with merit in 2012. While working as a small animal veterinarian in Brisbane, she developed a strong interest in dermatology, while participating in a drug trial for the treatment of skin allergies in dogs. She is also very interested in soft tissue surgery. In her free time in Brisbane, Lindsey volunteered for an organization that raises and trains puppies to become service dogs for physically disabled individuals.  Dr. Thomas came back to New York in 2014 and is excited to be working as a veterinarian in her home state. She currently lives in Westchester with her husband, son, 2 dogs, and a cat. In her spare time she enjoys baking and running. ​

​Dr. Jean-Paul Petrie is a veterinary cardiologist with a mobile cardiology service operating in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess Counties. He completed his DVM degree at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1994. Following veterinary school, he completed an internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists, Southfield, Michigan. Prior to completing his residency, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cardiac physiology and interventional cardiology at the Robarts Research Institute, University Hospital, London, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Petrie went on to complete a residency in veterinary cardiology at The Animal Medical Center in 1996. He was awarded Diplomate status by the American College of Veterinary Medicine in Cardiology in 1999. Prior to his current position, Dr. Petrie was a staff cardiologist with the Department of Medicine at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. He lectures both nationally and internationally, has published several articles and books chapters, and continues to be actively involved in clinical research projects.

​C. Dillon, D.V.M., Dip.A.C.V.S.-Consulting

​Dr. Christopher J. Dillon is a 1991 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine Texas A&M University. After several years in private practice, Dr. Dillon decided to continue his education and successfully completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship and Small Animal Surgery Residency at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Since then, he has worked many years both on Long Island and Manhattan and most recently as Director of Surgery at a referral practice in upstate New York. Over the years Dr. Dillon has developed a strong interest in reconstructive surgery as it relates to trauma and in the treatment of cancer, with other interests in soft tissue and neurosurgery.
